Every year there’s a reconstitution of the Waterloo battle in Belgium. to be honest these people are geeks in their own way. Everything they wear is handmade and they live & camp like in 1815. It’s a dive into history and no risk of getting off stage or behind the decor, there is no decor, it’s for real !
When the battle then comes up, you better get a spot early as the crowd masses all along the fence. get ready to breathe smoke and powder, you’re part of the movie that isn’t shot but lived here every inch & right in front of you. An amazing experience !
