The capital of South Korea actually resembles Tokyo in many ways. Low storied buildings mixed with towering business areas, many narrow streets limited to pedestrians, everything is clean & neat and as usual, you can eat everywhere. Funny thing is that even old houses are actually looking like new so well people there take care of their homes. Cars have hard times to park, the tube is there to take you where ever you want and it can be far as the network of trains is amazing.
Not much space is left to historic districts and except the two main palaces and a well refurbished huton style area, Seoul has swallowed its past and you might have hard times to find authentic areas here. Indeed it’s a 100% safe area, you’ve so much to see that it requires a few days to get around.
