Inchon

This is the spot where the Americans landed in 1953 and turned the tide in the war. Attacking the communist forces in their rear, Kim Il Sung’s armies collapsed and took a run. Nowadays Inchon is a quiet place with a nice little Chinatown, a historical museum and quiet streets. On the hill overseeing the area, there are the memorials that commemorate this great moment in history that left this side of the DMZ in the free world.
