I actually like architechture because it allows to shoot very interesting B&W pictures but also to play with the light. Depending on the time in the day, buildings can look quite differently and its an endless game to catch the best angle or detail. Indeed, sometimes I shoot a few pics just because I feel the architect pleased himself but not the future inhabitants of their creations. To my eyes, modern architecture has less value than carefully and often painstakingly built structures from the past. I’m not talking about the pyramids but simple buildings from the 19th century that look way better than these modern concrete blocks. But this is progress, you can’t stop it and we’ve to cope with it…
