July 14th…in Paris = Fireworks !
As probably noone knows it, Paris does not really celebrate the New Year’s Eve with a firework…but…there’s always a but….it does one big fat fireworks on July 14th, the day that the Bastille was taken back in 1789.
A friend of mine, Madeleine, was so kind to set up a nice evening in her flat so that we could enjoy the incredible view over Paris we had from Chatillon on the 7th floor. After enjoying the view at sunset and a nice (very healthy) dinner, we waited for the Fireworks to start.
This year were celebrated the 100 years of the begin of WW1 so the fireworks were amazingly big and long. Enjoy the pictures, I made a complete set here : https://deanza7.com/fireworks-paris-july-14th-2014/
