Ki Monastery is located in the Spiti valley, far away from everything to allow monks to focus on prayer.

Spiti is an arid, mineral and cold area where the only things that grow are stupas. The tibetan influence is strong here and most of the population is buddhist. Winter is extremely cold and this place is cut off from the rest of the world during heavy snowfall.

Indeed the view is breathtaking and you can sense the spirituality of the place.
